The f4 & See It Foundation was created to support, inspire, and encourage impactful photography and photojournalism for the compelling telling of stories. Stephan coined the term "f4 and See It" as a play on the old photojournalism adage "f8 and Be There." The new phrase represents patience, clarity, and vision in photography. It encourages the anticipation of the decisive moment before it happens and the crafting of images with purpose, not by chance.
